Violinmakers of the world are invited to make one copy of the 'Ole Bull' Del Gesù violin.
The copy may be in plain varnish, slightly antiqued or an exact copy.

All copies will be exhibited during the 2010 Menuhin Competition in Olso 16-25 April 2010.
They will be looked and played by some of the world's most talented players. The project will
culminate in a concert of the music of Ole bull played on some of the copies displayed.

The project is not a competition and there is no fee to participate.

Entrants are responsible for shipping their own instruments.

Plans for the instrument and larger images are available on the 'plans' page and also from the Peter Biddulph book on Guarnerius del Gesù which is available from Biddulph Recordings.
